Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu and Ram Charan’s Peddi are the two films from the Mega family this year. Surprisingly, both movies have achieved a rare feat at the Telugu Box Office.
Two generations, two blockbusters, one historic box office achievement
For the first time, a father and son have simultaneously delivered ₹300+ crore worldwide grossers in the same year from Telugu Cinema. As said above, Megastar Chiranjeevi with Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu, and Mega Power Star Ram Charan with Peddi have crossed 300 Cr Gross.
While MSG has finished its theatrical run, Peddi still running in theatres and it should be seen where the film’s run will end.
Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu was a profitable venture for all the parties involved, while Peddi has done well in the Telugu states, but it did not deliver the expected results in other areas.
